Emily R. Postman

Emily represents workers and their unions on a wide range of matters.

Emily Postman joined James & Hoffman in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Emily was a Gleichman Fellow in the Office of General Counsel at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), where she worked closely with workers, organizers, and local unions across the country. At SEIU, Emily provided advice and counsel to support organizing campaigns and defend against legislative attacks on public sector unions.

Emily graduated from Stanford Law School in 2021 with highest pro bono honors. Before law school, she was a community organizer, focused on building coalitions at the intersection of labor, environment, and public health. She earned her undergraduate degree from College of the Atlantic.

Emily is barred in the District of Columbia and Massachusetts.
