Stefanie Parker is a labor attorney with more than a decade of experience representing workers and unions across the public and private sectors.
Before joining James & Hoffman, Stefanie served as a Labor Attorney in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, where she monitored and enforced compliance with the labor provisions of the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement and represented the United States in international labor arbitration.
She previously served as an Attorney Advisor to Federal Labor Relations Authority Member Ernest DuBester and as a trial attorney in Region 28 of the National Labor Relations Board, where she investigated and litigated unfair labor practice cases, conducted elections to determine union representation, and served as a hearing officer in contested representation matters. While at the Board, Stefanie was elected President of Local 28 of the National Labor Relations Board Union and served as Co-Chair of the Union’s EEO Committee, supporting employees with EEO issues, including reasonable accommodation, and representing the union in consultations and negotiations on EEO matters.
Her early experience includes a fellowship with the Service Employees International Union’s Healthcare Division, where she advised on organizing campaigns in for-profit hospitals.
Stefanie holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, an M.P.A. from American University, and a B.A. in English from the University of Mary Washington. She is a member of the bars of California and Maryland.
Outside of her legal practice, Stefanie volunteers with Uganda Empowers, a nonprofit supporting clean water access and education initiatives in rural Uganda.
